food was alright. it seems they invested in good cooking equipment and ingredients like a Napolitian Pizza Oven & fresh pasta and not store bought. however Carbonara pasta contained lots of heavy cream instead of lightweight dish, and probably they didnt use the pasta sauce to make the dish emulsified, as the sauce just stuck to the bottom. the aglio e olio pasta was blant and very similar to Carbonara. and there were still chunks of pecorino that didnt melt.. its sad that although they sell fresh pasta, the sauces were not appropriate and felt like a template they just use for most of the pastas.. the focaccia and its dippings were delicious, but the focaccia was too "bread like" / "Chappati". and the tray its served on is made from non-stick material that everyone cuts their bread on and release toxic material that latch onto the food. usually its served on a wood board.. (and with a bread knife, not regular knife) the service was completely horrible. it took 10 minutes to get a waitress to take our order, we asked for a bottle of water that didnt arrive 15 minutes and we just went to the bar to take it ourselves, there was some bad attitude between the waitresses that don't contribute to the atmosphere, and around me were lots of frustrating customers who just wait infinitely to pay / to order. the knowledge of the waitress was almost zero, as even basic question wasn't answered - I asked if their Pecorino cheese was authentic pecorino romano cheese or a cheap substitute, she didnt understand what I'm asking. I asked to know where they buy their cheese from and she didn't know as well (just stared blankly at me). she also didnt know the difference between sparkling mineral water and soda. and she cleaned the table using a window cleaner spray, spraying on our faces. this is not how you clean a table. you gently spray a food-safe chemical like Alcohol on a towel and clean the table with it. other then that - the location is perfect, a bit hard to find parking space but the marine has great atmosphere and chill vibes. pricing was more then fair (~200₪ for starter, 2 main dishes and 2 sparkling water), and the portion sizing was very big (too big in my opinion). my advice to the owners: replace your waitresses with better vibed ones who actually want the job make the menu much smaller - you have a huge restaurant and this huge menu doesn't make sense for a Bistro with small number of workers.. one paged menu is more then enough.. educate your waitress on your ingredients - what are the cheeses you use and where they come from stop bragging to the Israeli public with heavy cream and huge dishes. reduce their size, improve their quality, make authentic Italian food and more people will come and enjoy. you got the best equipment in the market to make very high quality dishes.. educate your waitresses on how to clean up a table without spraying on people's faces / food. use wood board for Focaccia, and provide bread knife with it.

Food: bad. The lasagna had no beshamel, there was little to no meat, all that was felt was badly made tomato sauce with big chunks of vegetables, oversalted, overpeppered, very acidic (no sugar was added, it felt like). Most people were disappointed with theirs as well. Service: the staff are young, and untrained. There was one guy who was good, but the rest had attitude, and were short tempered. Two dishes were forgotten and we had to wait ~30+ minutes until they were brought. We had to ask for almost everything multiple times (heating, blanket). Atmosphere: the outside is bland, and cold. It was windy and raining outside, they said they had multiple heaters, brought only 1 for a large table. There was a leak from the ceiling, which they were aware of, but they still seated us under it. Not to mention- the temporary outside winter enclosure was not sealed properly and the harsh cold winds from the outside were felt. They also had our table on the entrance (2-3 meters away)- which means every time someone came in, we got the strong winds right on us. הזמנו מקום מראש לארוחת ערב זוגית ביום שישי בערב.

ראשית ניסיתי למצוא דרך להגיע למסעדה טלפונית כי רציתי לשאול משהו, המס׳ היחיד היה נייד כלשהו שלא ניתן להתקשר אליו ורק לשלוח וואטסאפ.

הגענו למסעדה והיה גשם זלעפות, כל החלק החיצונית של המסעדה שסגרו עם סגירת חורף כזו טיפטף ונזל והרצפה הייתה רטובה.

החלק הפנימי של המקום מאוד מרווח ומעוצב יפה. המסעדה הייתה מלאה באנשים.

הזמנו 2 מנות ראשונות - ארנצ׳יני גבינות וסלט בוראטה - שניהם היו מאוד מאוד טעימים!

הזמנו 2 מנות עיקריות - סטייק האוס עם תפו״א וירקות צלויים וניוקי ערמונים ופטריות. היה טעים אבל כחלק מהירקות הצלויים היה אמור להיות אספרגוס (בהתאם למה שמצויין בתפריט) ולצערנו לא היה. וניוקי היה קצת דחוס וקשה.

ניסינו בשלב מסויים להזמין מהמלצרית קוקטייל ויסקי סאוור, שזה הקוקטייל הכי בסיסי ובנאלי שקיים ותשובתה הייתה - ״נגמר״ בעודנו רואים כמה סוגים של בקבוקי ויסקי על המדף בבר. רק אחרי שפנינו למנהל הוא הבין את גודל הפאדיחה ודאג שנקבל את הקוקטייל שביקשנו.

מבחינת שירות - הייתה שם כמות לא הגיונית של מלצרים, כולם בשנות ה-20 וחלק נכבד מהם לא ממש ידע לדבר עברית…לא הבנתי את הקטע וזה היה מוזר. כל שנייה מלצר אחר הגיע אלינו, שם סכו״ם חלקי, רק מפית אחת. התקשורת שם והניהול של מי אחראי על מה לקה בחסר. האוכל יצא ממש ממש מהר.

בסה״כ ממש נהננו מהאוכל והארוחה ואז ביקשנו חשבון - הגיע מלצר שטען שהוא אחראי משמרת ועמד לנו על הראש עם החשבון ורצה שנשלם לו במקום על מכשיר סליקה נייד. ביקשנו שייקח סכום מסוים עם טיפ והוא ברוב חוצפתו אמר שזה טיפ לא מספק ושהוא חושב שצריך לשים אחוז טיפ גבוה יותר אם נהננו ולא הייתה שום בעיה.

היינו בהלם, בחיים לא נתקלנו בסיטואציה כזו במסעדה ושנינו עבדנו כמלצרים ואחראי משמרת שנים רבות בתור צעירים.

ענינו לו שזה מה שאנחנו שמים ויצאנו בכעס מהמסעדה. פשוט ביזיון לדעתי…

ה-3 כוכבים נטו בגלל שהאוכל באמת היה טעים וטוב וסה״כ השירות הכללי היה בסדר.

אבל החוצפה של המלצר/אחמש הזה השאירה...
