What a gem! We saw a sign for the museum on our drive and my wife loves candy so we popped in. Fortunately there was an English tour just beginning. The candy making family has been in business since 1894 and this is their town shop and museum. The tour guide on our English tour was very thorough and friendly and accommodated is arriving later. You learn in great detail how the various candies were made in the past and how they are made today. Of course there is tasting, including real silver coated almonds. Bellissima esperienza che consiglio caldamente a tutti di fare qualora ci si trovi di passaggio ad Andria. Il ticket di ingresso, alla modica cifra di 5 euro a persona, prevede un tour del museo della durata di 30/40 minuti, durante il quale, attraverso contenuti video, degustazione dei prodotti e la magistrale esposizione di una guida, permetterà una full immersion nel mondo della confetteria d'autore, dalle tecniche di lavorazione, alle dinamiche sociali legate alla vita aziendale del periodo, passando per la descrizione delle materie prime utilizzate nel ciclo di produzione. A tal proposito un grazie particolare va alla signora Laura che ha permesso a me e a chi mi accompagnava di essere letteralmente accattivati da questo dolcissimo universo. È stata in grado di mantenere vivo l'interesse dei presenti con la sua simpatica e sorridente verve nonché con la sua disponibilità.
