A must see if you visit Como! Take the funicular to Brunate and then follow the signs to Pissarottino. There are less people at this location. The spring is underwhelming. BUT the view is amazing as you can see the lake, the swiss villages and the Alps.

The actual fountain is pretty underwhelming. It's literally a tiny tap with a Mary symbol and bucket. However, close by is a cute little lookout that overlooks Lago di Como. Wouldn't come here for the fountain, but would for the view (if in Brunate).
