One of my absolute favorite places in Italy! We went there in early July and had a great peaceful and fun day. The view is breathtaking, the other people there enjoying the beach were very respectful, there is plenty of shade and the water is perfect for swimming. The only downside would be the parking that was pretty expensive for the day anywhere in the town, but overall we had a great experience. I would definitely recommend and revisit!

A beautiful place, and it's not just the beach itself. Wherever you go along the lake's coast in this area, you can really find many amazing spots, from picturesquely moored sailboats to grassy and rocky beaches, to beautiful land extensions deeper into the lake. The entire place is a great spot for a walk and spending time with picturesque views of the lake, the town's old architecture, and of course, the mountains.

Beautiful side with awesome views. Beach bays are mostly secure by lifeguards. Lots of room for a blanket on pebble beach or on grass near the beach. Toilets and changing rooms. I highly recommend swimming shoes, pebbles and bigger rocks in the water. Some parkings nearby but not directly on the side of the beach. Some food trucks but food is far away from "good".

A beautiful beach, the best I've seen at Garda lake. The grass areas are great for relaxing and hiding in the shadows + there are lifeguards, which is not common in this area and comes as a plus from kids safety perspective. The only thing I could complain is that the water could be warmer, but hey, this is theoretically a mountain lake!

Riva del garda is de meest geschikte plaats voor een vakantie met kinderen. Helaas is het keien strand is niet echt lekker om te liggen en dichte waterschoenen zijn een must. Gelukkig zijn er ook ligweides aangelegd met gras en bomen zodat u lekker uit de zon in het gras kunt vertoeven. Overal zijn er toiletten en douches zodat u zich kunt opfrissen als u het strand wil verlaten. De prijzen bij de barretjes en restaurants zijn hier aanzienlijk duurder dan een straat er achter maar dat mag de pret niet drukken. Op dit strand zijn er voldoende hulpdiensten aanwezig maar verkijkt u zich niet op de stroming van het meer. Deze kun je een flink stuk inlopen maar dan zijn er verradelijke diepten waar u voor moet waken met kinderen. Zoals gezegd zijn dichte waterschoenen een must. Ook de zonnebrand mag hier niet ontbreken.
