The beach itself is absolutely amazing. However an attempt was made to save the beach. As you can imagine in the end everything was overtaken by the human greediness. The parking lot is paid, which is totally fine. There is an online website where only 800 persons can buy a ticket up to 48 hours prior to the visit and 800 can buy tickets in the last 48 hours before the visit. That's also well organized even though the website is not at all user friendly. Coming on site you first have to go through the check-in where you will receive a paper band for the day. You also are in a position to buy a straw mat at the price of 6 euro each. (Not comment that the straw mat doesn't cost more than 3-4 euro else where). If you don't have one already on the beach "police" will direct you to go out and buy one. Please keep in mind that this may be the only place on the whole island where credit cards are not accepted, cash only. A rhetorical question here: if the idea is to preserve the sand and the environment why not raise the entry prize from 3,5 euro to 4 for example and buy multi use mats, big enough to prevent the fine sand to get to your beach towel? If however you decide to pay for the sunbed and umbrella the price along with the parking and end the entry fee can reach 40 euros euro person.

La Pelosa Beach is a coastal gem that leaves visitors mesmerized with its crystal-clear blue waters and abundant marine life. During my visit, I was captivated by the sight of fish gracefully gliding through the water, creating an unforgettable underwater spectacle right before my eyes. The shallow waters that extend up to 500 meters from the shore offer a unique opportunity to explore the sea on foot, making it an excellent destination for families and non-swimmers alike. The safe and calm waters ensure a relaxing experience, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the natural beauty. I rate La Pelosa Beach with 4 stars due to its remarkable water clarity, enchanting marine life, and the convenience of walking into the sea for an extended distance. However, it's worth noting that during peak times, the beach can get quite crowded, affecting the overall tranquility of the surroundings. Despite this minor setback, La Pelosa Beach remains a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a close encounter with the wonders of nature. The picturesque setting and the chance to witness marine life up close make it an unforgettable coastal retreat.
