Museo della Zecca — Attraction in Lucca

I really want to give it more because the two men at reception were so friendly, but honestly if you aren't Italian speaking then the museum has zero value and I wouldn't go as the few descriptions are in Italian, but it is an underwhelming collection of items and we didn't know what we were looking at, didn't learn anything and just visually the collection wasn't that interesting or enjoyable. It was a waste of 20 minutes and I was sad we hadn't gone to a different museum (The Palazzo Pfanner was MUCH better and interesting with the medical instruments for example.

Ho approfittato di avere un pò di tempo libero x visitare il museo della zecca di lucca. Sono rimasto entusiasta, della competenza della guida che si sentiva la sua passione in ogni parola che diceva. Nn ci sono solo monete della città di lucca o romane, ci sono una cassaforte ( che ci vuole 3 chiavi x aprirla e nel 1700 circa le possedevano 3 persone diverse )poi c'è anche un torchio o bilanciere x il conio delle monete, molto antico e unico sempre del 1700...ricordo che la casermetta è sulle mura e che si può visitare il museo dal lunedì al venerdì negli orari...
