Glee gluten lactose free lab — Restaurant in Lucca

Wow this is coeliac heaven. We visited from south england and felt like we had won the lottery, tonnes of fresh produce like we have never seen anywhere else in the world. There is also a frozen section with pizza (which are also lactose free!) and a cupboard selection also. If you are allergic to gluten, you must visit, if you are not allergic to gluten you should also visit as it is so tasty! Fresh bread, pizza, baked goods, it’s all here & easy parking outside (or a very short walk from lucca central 10 mins). Amazing! Such a celiac dream, I did not want to leave. Such a wide variety of lovely pastries and delicious savoury bread dishes! My favourites were the cream filled puffs and the pistachio cream pastries. And also the pizza and foccacia. Further more they sell a lot of different products from different brands, from flours, breads and biscuits, to cereals, snacks, and microwave ready meals! Definitely worth a visit! Wir waren total beeindruckt von diesem Laden! Die Auswahl an glutenfreien Produkten ist wirklich außergewöhnlich, so eine Vielfalt findet man selten. Besonders begeistert waren wir von den frischen Focaccias und Croissants, sie waren wunderbar frisch und sehr lecker.

Was uns besonders gefreut hat: Es gab sogar gekühlte Produkte wie frische glutenfreie Tortellini und andere Kühlwaren. Leider konnten wir davon nichts mitnehmen, da wir mit dem Auto unterwegs waren und es an dem Tag sehr heiß war. die Produkte wären auf der Fahrt schlecht geworden.

Die Dame im Laden war unglaublich freundlich, hat sich viel Zeit genommen und ist auf all unsere Fragen und Wünsche eingegangen. Sie hat uns sogar Tipps gegeben, wo man bestimmte glutenfreie Produkte auch in Deutschland gut bekommt.
