Porto Bianco — Attraction in Monopoli

Porto Bianco in Monopoli is a visually stunning spot, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the charming harbor. The picturesque scenery, with its whitewashed buildings and clear blue waters, makes it a lovely place for photos and relaxation. A busy, but lovely local beach. We arrived around 10am and it was about 1/4 full with locals - a popular spot. It got busier as the day went on but still felt safe and not too cramped. It is not the same crystal clear & white sand as some of the bays further away from monopoli - but then often you pay a lot of money for them. This beach was fun did the job but was a bit small and crowded, though civilised. I got kind of bored but I would go there again if the weather was right. As it's shielded from the wind not too far from the city centre or the Old Town you can go on foot if you haven't got a car. I would only return if in Bari and desperate for beach with not much...
