La Sartoria del Pollo — Restaurant in Monopoli

This was hands down the best grilled chicken and potatoes I have ever had! Me and my girlfriend wanted something quick and easy on our trip and a little break from pasta and decided to stop by this shop as we had passed it the day before and it was right next to our hotel.

As soon as we entered we were taken away by how many options there were but finally settled on a maxi box for the two of us. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

All of the food is freshly prepared infront of you and it will absolutely blow your mind with the flavor and juicyness.

We only paid 14.50 Euro and got a whole chicken, half a pound of fries, 2 dipping sauces and a drink.

We ordered some chicken and fries for takeout and were amazed by how crispy everything still was even after already being carried around for about 20 minutes. Portions are really generous and the staff is charmingly nice. The chicken was juicy and grilled to perfection. Together with the tangy sauce and the salty fries it was just finger licking delicious! The roasting chicken looked mouth watering in the window but unfortunately unseasoned and a bit dry. We tried the mixed roast box and the mixed fried box but the fried wings were overcooked and unseasoned too.

The fries were great and the team was very helpful despite our language barrier. The best thing on offer were the abundant sauces! We tried mango relish and truffle mayo, both made the chicken better.
