When I was younger I would never dream of being content just sitting in a room, hiding in the Italian sun and just drinking with my thoughts to myself in silence, but here I am. And this is the most perfect and beautiful location to fulfil this simple fantasy. the drinks were exceptional and the staff were incredibly polite and professional. It has an excellent selection of drinks and the snacks provided were not to my taste as I dislike olives and capers though the nuts were devoured voraciously 😜 It's a beautifu and charmingl bar and I wish it was closer to home. Recommended

What a place! A definite must go, even for people like me, who aren't alcohol-lovers :) The owner, by herself offered us a seat and gave some recommendations for drinks. My friends suggested we try Lemon Spritz (we fully support that suggestion!), and when we asked Mary (the owner) about this drink she said it was her invention - it IS the best Lemon Spritz in town! Boy, was it a great time. They serve drinks with peanuts and olives. Moreover, the Wine House has a great vibe, which has developed over the 33 years it has been open. A fantastic place!

Best place to have drink in cinque terre. I’ve been to all the paesi here and this is by far the best place to start your night. Friendly staff! The owner is sooooo lovely, she explained and recommended every drink we had. Also they speak every language. So you won’t have problems trying to communicate. Also, the tables outside are all for share, so if you want you can socialize with others and that is simply amazing! They don’t open at Tuesday!!!!!

If you are strolling through Monterosso the Enoteca Da Eliseo is a lovely place to sit for awhile and enjoy some amazing wines, a delicious Sangria which I have to mention was one of the best I've ever had, along with some lemon liquors, great beers for those beer lovers and delicious nuts, olives and capers. The best things about this place is the owners Eliseo, Mary and their lovely daughter. They make you feel like family. One of the highlights is the outdoor setting with tables that are set for 4 to 6 people. Just near the entrance there is a heartwarming sign that says, our tables are to be shared. Having stopped in their everyday during our 3 day stay in Monterosso we were able to welcome people to sit with us which allowed us to make new friends from Australia, the UK and Hungary. We were lucky enough to stay in Monterosso for a few nights on our honeymoon and came here twice. The selection is great. You get nuts and olives to snack on if you order drinks. It's a lovely spot to go after dinner when most of the tourists have retreated for the night, letting you feel for a moment that you are at one with the locals (a very rare feeling on an Italian trip). Mary is the SWEETEST!! She was so welcoming and helpful and gave me a big hug goodbye on our last night. Highly recommend this place to kick back, reminisce on memories of the day and put the planning on hold...
