Cantina del Pescatore — Restaurant in Monterosso al Mare

We've been staying in Monterosso for 2 weeks and almost all our lunches were here! Great place with delicious food and lovely people. Our favs were bruschettas with anchovies/capers and Parma/mushrooms. Always ordered salads (classic caprese or the one with sundried tomatoes and feta cheese) to share as the portions are quite big - great way to have a break from pasta/pizza :) They also have the best lemon slash we could find around - it's natural homemade with lemon zest in it - highly recommended! And they serve breakfast from 9 to 11 am - nothing extraordinary, just nice and delicious omelettes and toasts. Huge thanks to the people working there - super kind and sweet. It was a pleasure to meet them. The place is opened from 9 am to 7 pm and they have a one day-off...

Ok, for real... You can't come to Monterosso (or the cinque terre) without going to this place ! The food is simply amazing and very tasteful with fresh products. You can have great products for a reasonable price and full your stomach with the best Italian food. Our favorite place in cinque terre with my wife, we even went there twice during our stay ! We strongly recommend you to go there and try their different bruschette and foccacia, we tried a few of them and they all were excellent ! Totally worth the hype!!! Definitely come here if you are in town. The server was really welcoming and the food just seemed like it was made with great fresh produce. We got melon and ham to start it was good but for the price probably wouldn’t recommend as it’s only 5 small pieces of melon. Then my boyfriend had the focaccia with truffles and ham which he loved and I had the first bruschetta on the list which I also loved!
