The whole beach is a private beach...not free or enjoyable at all and the situation here violates the law. No-one can forbid you to sit in the seaside! We didn't know you should have a reservation to have a private spot, so we tried to find a spot on the "free" part of the beach which literally is 30 m2 in a beach that extends more than 1km. When tried to sit on the seaside literally 1-2 meters from the sea. Then the lifeguard came and send us and everyone else away although we weren't near the private umbrellas saying this is a private beach! We wasted 1 1/2 hours for nothing! Avoid going there if you don't have reservation or if you don't want to start a flight saying the obvious! IF ITS PRIVATE... I SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO HAVE ACCESS OTHERWISE ITS ILLEGAL TO NOT LET ME SIT...

The Cinque de Terre is one of those things that need to be on everyone's life list. To start, come in condition to do some seriously hiking. The trail is well worn stone, but the elevation changes at every given turn. With that being said, prepare for a waltz through country that will leave you gasping in awe. There is nothing quite like climbing up a rock trail surrounded by a century old farms, only to be met by a minstrel on an accordion playing upbeat music of the homeland. With multiple remarkable towns, you will find great pit stops in between jaunts. Experience WWII artillery bunkers, tomato farms, ancient and remote churches void of any other people, stunning bay views, some of the most colorful townships known to man, stunning bays, grand ships. Seriously it is...

Beautiful, scenic beach. Gorgeous blue water. This is a pebble beach surrounded by mountains. A beautiful walk from one side to the other with restaurants, shops and bars and ice cream places. You can lay down on your own towel or rent a beach chair. Lots of small hotels to choose from and at the beach front is not allowed to enter with car, so prepare for quite a walk. Luckily it’s a beautiful walk. The only bad thing is that there is only 1 public toilet at one end which only takes 1 or 2 euro coins and does not give coins back. Very cute and kind of hippy little town connected to this beach, where you can find lots of souvenirs, beach wear...

A Cinque Terre Travel Guide 🇮🇹 There are so many Instagram hotspots that are woefully overrated. Style over substance, packaged wholly for tourists, offering little real value beyond a cute IG snap. But Cinque Terre, happily, is not that. Admittedly, I think I’m happily biased in having visited off season and having the place largely quiet, but it truly is as charming as it looks through a phone screen. I’ve put together a short guide to the region, including some of my favourite things to do, restaurants and dining in Cinque Terre… GETTING AROUND Travelling around Cinque Terre is surprisingly easy. There’s regular trains every 15 minutes between the five villages, and you can buy day passes that provide you unlimited access. I wouldn’t recommend driving as parking is limited. There’s also ferries, however I’ve not had the opportunity to try them myself as I’ve always stuck to the train! THINGS TO DO - Hike the 40+ trails in the region - Take a sunset boat cruise - Swim on Monterosso beach - Go wine tasting and experience local wines RESTAURANTS & DINING - Nessun Dorma for spritz and bruschetta with iconic views - Ristorante La Torre for sunset views over Vernazza - Trattoria dal Billy for heaping bowls of pasta to share - La Smorfino for the best pizza in Cinque Terre - Da Eraldo for heaped platters of seafood and charcuterie - Eat fresh pesto, focaccia, and fritto misto I’ve got a more extensive travel guide going live on the blog (link in bio) later today, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re planning a trip! #italiait #visititaly #italian_trips #italytravel #italyiloveyou #italy_vacations #italylandscape #uktravelblogger #travelbloggers #europe_vacations #europedestinations #italianplaces #cinqueterre #italydestinations #travelphotography #travelvideography #traveldeeper #traveldiaries #travellingthroughtheworld #travelguide

Beach is beautiful but it's private and the staff is extremely rude and loud (especially the black guy) and follow you and chase you away if you walk around and don't have a sunbed reserved. Can't even leave a towel or anything on the beach even though a beach is open for all by law. They also refuse to rent out sunbeds even though there are several empty ones that have been empty for hours. Very disappointing and uninviting experience overall.
