The whole beach is a private beach...not free or enjoyable at all and the situation here violates the law. No-one can forbid you to sit in the seaside! We didn't know you should have a reservation to have a private spot, so we tried to find a spot on the "free" part of the beach which literally is 30 m2 in a beach that extends more than 1km. When tried to sit on the seaside literally 1-2 meters from the sea. Then the lifeguard came and send us and everyone else away although we weren't near the private umbrellas saying this is a private beach! We wasted 1 1/2 hours for nothing! Avoid going there if you don't have reservation or if you don't want to start a flight saying the obvious! IF ITS PRIVATE... I SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO HAVE ACCESS OTHERWISE ITS ILLEGAL TO NOT LET ME SIT...

Read moreBeautiful, scenic beach. Gorgeous blue water. This is a pebble beach surrounded by mountains. A beautiful walk from one side to the other with restaurants, shops and bars and ice cream places. You can lay down on your own towel or rent a beach chair. Lots of small hotels to choose from and at the beach front is not allowed to enter with car, so prepare for quite a walk. Luckily it’s a beautiful walk. The only bad thing is that there is only 1 public toilet at one end which only takes 1 or 2 euro coins and does not give coins back.
