If I had the option I’d give a 3.5/5. This place is the only one of its kind in Rome and as a cat lover I had to visit but I was a little bit disappointed compared to what I read in some of the reviews. The service was great and it was nice that the girl working there spoke English and could explain everything to us. Where they lost stars for me was the cleanliness and smell of the cat room, they placed the litter boxes in the room and not separately like most cat cafes so you can imagine the smell with 7 cats all doing their business in the same room. Also for the size of the room there honestly aren’t enough cats! Especially how many people can fit in the place the ratio is very off. I’ve been to many cat cafes but mostly in asia (that’s where the diff could lie in) where there is less room but more kitties and also more entertainment for them as well. The cats seem healthy and well fed but otherwise it would be nice to have the option to buy treats to get more interaction with them, there’s also not many toys as well. The room is a little dull and lacks livelihood. If you order drinks they will bring it into the room for you but not many tables to sit at, there is one in the back…but right next to the litter box. Overall, the cats did not disappoint as most were very friendly and would come up to you and are not bothered or aggressive when being pet! Just minor improvements all around could make this place so...
Read more€5 euros to play and see the cats for TWO hours, I think this is very generous pricing. The woman running the shop seems sweet & tried her best to communicate with us.
The cats are in a big room, they have plenty of places to run and hide if they feel scared or michevious. They like to escape the big room, so I suggest being careful when exiting it. I didn't enjoy my mango fruit tea, but my partner enjoyed theirs.
Some of the cats are quite large. There was a lack of cat toys at the time of my visit (only 3 cat toys). I managed to play with the cats by using a paper bag & the string handles. The cats enjoyed playing in the bag and chasing after the string handles. My favourite cats was the grey one (it reminds me of my cat at home) and the orange one (was super fluffy). But all the cats have a unique silly personality. They are also well groomed.
I'd heavily suggest getting alot more cat toys because it would improve the experience for the cats and customers. Especially Cat Wands & Teasers toys because I didn't see any. The lack of cat toys was my main reason for giving a 4 star review. I still enjoyed seeing the cats & price...
Read moreI've been to the cat cafe twice now. The cats are super cute, most of them are very willing to receive cuddles and pets, and in general the room is kept clean and with water and food available for the kitties. One thing I will add though, is that it was extremely hot both times I went. The second time the cat room had better air conditioning, but the outside room was terribly hot (it was full because of an event and it definitely lacked ventilation). The bubble teas are ok, they could taste more like the taste you picked but instead it's very sweet and tapioca slightly overcooked. But in general I would come back...
