Ristorante Le streghe — Restaurant in Rome

Maybe it's the sea air and the quieter areas of Italy that appeal to me more, but, I adored this beautiful town / city. The people are warm and friendly and I met so many wonderful new friends. If you enjoy culture, food, great shopping experiences, a bustling produce market, charcuterie, and delicatessen foods, this is a city for you. You will be amazed with the plant and tree diversity with several species imported from Africa 🌍 Vinchenzo (I hope I spelt name correctly) is a magician and horticultural king. I visited at Christmas time, I can only imagine how wonderful it is when the trees are in full bloom and fruiting with the many exotic varieties. I filmed many of the fishermen after returning from sea with a bounty of gleaming fish that was a fantastic sight. I watched fishermen tend their nets, and although my Italian isn't the strongest, the warm cultural family love shone very brightly. Oggi, Pasqua 2019, mi vedo costretto a dover cambiare la recensione fatta in precedenza e che lascio in fondo a questa. Prenoto il giorno prima, dimentico di chiedere se avevano previsto menù fisso, ma anche chi mi prende la prenotazione non mi avvisa. Arrivo e trovo la sorpresa, ma mi dico abbiamo sempre mangiato bene sarà buono. Leggo il menù fisso ed inizio a preoccuparmi. Arrivano subito gli antipasti (li potete leggere nella foto allegata), andiamo oltre, dopo esserci fatti coraggio col vino della casa unica nota di merito. Superati i primi (tutti e due di terra, una nota di pesce potevano prevederla....!!! No troppa fatica e poco guadagno). Ma é con il secondo che tocchiamo l'apoteosi: Grigliata mista, ovvero una costoletta di agnello (a me non è nemmeno toccata la costoletta....) una salsiccia (che chiamare tale è esagerato) e dulcis in fundo un fuso di pollo (preso pari pari dalla mensa dell'ospedale). Il tutto cotto al forno e non alla griglia, asciutto e nel caso del pollo lessato e poco cotto. Per finire tiramisù, unica nota positiva, ma in porzione mignon e forchettina di plastica.... Il costo lo vedete nella foto allegata. Altro non dico perché sono ancora piuttosto deluso ed arrabbiato. Capisco che per certi ristoranti in questi giorni il menù fisso è una necessità per fare fronte all'affluenza di avventori, ma nulla giustifica quello che ci hanno rifilato e quello che più mi fa rabbia è che ero venuto in questo ristorante perché speravo di mangiare bene come sempre era stato in precedenza.l, ed invece.....
