Winehouse — Attraction in Trapani

IT: Ho considerato questo bar dopo una giornata faticosa per un semplice aperitivo. Mi è stato offerto un calice riempito oltre la metà non accompagnato da alcun cibo dopo 20 minuti di attesa. La mia ragazza chiede spiegazioni e le viene detto che "avevano finito le patatine", ed erano le 19:40. Orario di aperitivo. Inqualificabile. Il personale è gentile ma impreparato e troppo "spaesato". Alla fine (20 minuti di attesa e un reclamo) ci sono state offerte una ciotolina con 8 olive e delle mandorle. Non vi aspettate un aperitivo decente come è stato offerto ai clienti del tavolo vicino al nostro. Gli errori non sono stati riconosciuti e nessuno si è mosso per chiederci scusa per il pessimo servizio. Non accettano carte e il pagamento è stato confuso. Perché i clienti devono pagare la totale mancanza di competenza del gestore dell'attività? La giornata è stata orrenda ed è finita peggio con il pessimo servizio che ci hanno offerto.

Piccola nota: dovevamo lasciare Trapani alle 20 (orario di partenza del bus Segesta), contavamo di fare un aperitivo alle 19:20. Alle 19:40 ancora non era arrivato nulla (vino a parte). Abbiamo lasciato il locale alle 19:52.

Un peccato. Un locale con un ottimo potenziale davvero sprecato. Consiglio i locali adiacenti. Più promettenti.

EN: I considered this bar after what can perfectly be described as an off-day for a simple aperitif. I was offered a half-filled wine glass with no food after 20 minutes of waiting. My girlfriend asked for an explanation and she was told that "they were out of chips". It was 7:40 pm. Aperitif time. How unprofessional. The staff was kind but unprepared and totally lost and confused. At last (after 20 minutes of waiting and a complaint), we were offered a small bowl of olives and almonds. Don't expect a decent aperitif as it was offered to the customers at the table next to ours. Mistakes were not acknowledged and no one rushed to apologize for the bad service. They don't accept cards and the payment was confusing.Why should customers have to pay for the total lack of competence of a business? The day was awful and it ended in the worst possible fashion with the bad service they offered us.

Little note: we had to leave Trapani at 8pm (departure time of the Segesta bus), we were sitting there since 7:20pm. At 7:40 pm we still hadn't gotten to anything (wine aside). We left the bar at 7:52 pm.

What a shame. A place with great potential completely wasted. I recommend the nearby bars. Certainly more promising...

Un bar con un potenziale incredibile vista la posizione strategica di fronte all’imbarco per i traghetti, peccato però per la scarsa capacità di venire incontro ai bisogno dei turisti. Nonostante io avessi già fatto presente al cameriere che avrei pagato la colazione con il bancomat, al momento del pagamento con il proprietario mi è stato detto che “è inaccettabile pagare una colazione con il bancomat” e che “il locale non è tenuto ad avere un pos”, il tutto accompagnato da frasi poco carine da riportare. Dopo avergli detto che non ho contanti, mi ha bruscamente accompagnata alla porta dicendo di andarmene. Sottolineo inoltre che tutto il personale indossava la mascherina, fuorché il proprietario, nonostante ricoprisse un ruolo attivo nel servizio alla clientela. Una peccato per i turisti d’oltralpe, i quali invece che godersi una colazione vista mare, si troveranno di fronte ad un disagio non conforme alla legge italiana.

If I knew this place from the first day of staying in Trapani I will never eat in different place. The family run restaurant with small doshes and tapas made from very high quality ingridients. Heaven in mounth. We had tuna brusquets and burrata, everything lovely. The older man was charming and very kind. Lots of wine to discover and you can even buy few of the products right in the shop. They are open from 19:00, they should change it in google...
