Capricci in tavola (Casimiro) — Restaurant in Trapani

I have been fortunate enough to try a lot of very good food all over Italy. There is good food in Italy (which would be amazing in most other countries) and than there is excellent food. This place is nothing short of amazing!! I am staying in Trapani and I have eaten here about 6 different times so far. I must say the food is top top!! The ingredients are superb. The panini are decadent with some of the best cheese and meats you could possibly get. Today I had a mortadella sandwich with pistacchi and stracciatella. It was Devine, truly one of the best panino I have ever had in my life. The ingredients are superb, the stracciatella was sooooo fresh and so good I really didn’t want to finish. There is a reason this place is always packed with locals. Recommendation parking can be tough but park a little further away and walk, beyond worth it....

We just happened upon this place and were blown away by the food and amazing reception by the delightful staff. Be sure to taste the cous cous, baked stuffed aubergine, spanish omelette Sicilian-style, cheeses and meats. You basically cannot go wrong! Coffee was great too, as were the ricotta pastry desserts.

The staff were some of the friendliest I have ever encountered, very helpful and cheery and made us feel right at home. We even got fist pumps from the man behind counter as we were leaving!

I can't recommend this place enough. It is probably the best deli I have ever visited and I am very discerning when it...

Always a pleasure, one of those places that as you enter you feel happy, from the welcome to the food to the atmosphere to the camaraderie and not least Dad who stops and chats or Casimiro and Co who give directions to the best pastries, salt pans, cultural visits in the area. Everyone is made to feel at home the food is abundant and homemade, the sandwiches are huge and the dishes are made with love and respect for the ingredients....the yellow (,saffron) bread has to be requested but is out...
