Acquamarina Beach — Attraction in Tropea

This place was amazing. We walks the full length from north to hear to find the perfect vibe for our day and we found it!! Truly awesome. We arrived before officially open and the older lad “pop” accommodated us right away. Two umbrellas, 4 drinks and two coffees all with in 5 minutes. The bar tender was awesome and the whole beach scene was great. Didn’t find food or drinks to be expensive at all! I have no idea what people expect to pay in a sea side tourist town but nothing at all was extra money from what we’ve been paying for the last 10 days on our travels from one beach’s to the next. This place felt like a nonna and nonno operation in the best possible way. The music started bumpin around 430 and the rotation of early people to later day people was happening and it rolled right on til sunset. Highly recommend. Worth the walk south. And to those who said they were treated rude or go booted from a chair I would say they brought that on themselves selves. I’m Canadian and we’re the only English people here and well...

Martedì 30 agosto 2022 ore 13.30. Siamo in 4 per un aperitivo. Accoglienza calorosa di un uomo di mezza età . Come inizio non è male. In sala c'erano solo 3 tavoli occupati ed il tavolo più grande era il nostro. Alla richiesta di fare un aperitivo, cioè bere e mangiare qualcosa ci viene detto che dobbiamo per forza sederci su degli sgabelli. Ci accomodiamo e dopo 5 minuti ci vengono a prendere la comanda. Chiediamo il menù o almeno una carta dei vini ma ci viene detto che il bar è sprovvisto. Ci "accontentano" con un menù del ristorante sporco e non plastificato come gli altri. Dopo altri 10 minuti vengono a prendere la comanda. Visto la tempistica optiamo per un qualcosa di semplice, 2 corona , 2 spritz con Aperol e un aperitivo per 4. Altri infiniti 10 minuti e arriva da bere ( il bar era sprovvisto di Angostura) passa altro tempo e chiediamo nuovamente qualcosa da stuzzicare. Arrivano due ciotoline, una di olive e una di patatine. Niente tovagliolini, nessun posacenere. Dopo l'ennesimo sollecito tirano fuori un piatto o di bruschette. Arrivano 4 tovaglioli, miracolo. Parte il secondo giro di bevande. Nel frattempo entra un nostro carissimo conoscente e lo fanno accomodare nel posto che avevamo chiesto. Il tutto senza prenotazione solo perché era un amico. This place is overpriced!! It's not worth coming here. The only reason why a person should even consider this place is when all other options are exhausted!

This is just for the prices! I don't know about the taste because I didn't eat here but a spritz + 2 canned tea and 3 coffee cost me 25 euros!
