La Pergola Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Tropea

We were going one od the Tropea streets and wanted to eat something good. Tempted by good opinions, we entered this restaurant. The staff was watching us and clearly they didn't like our outfits... We were just not elegant as they. We were informed from the beginning that the kitchen does open within several minutes. It was not the problem for us. But it was a sign. We should exit it immediately. But we didn't know what would happen to us yet. We have ordered 3 different spaghetti. Mine was just okay, my aunt was surprised by the lack of some of the ingredients. But the worst dish my mom have received. It was tasty, but unfortunately with the unwanted present. She found the piece of the metal pan scourer. Immediately, we have informed one of the waiter. He just looked at us, took this scourer, throw up the arms. We didn't heard any word for apologies. As if that was not enough, we later got food poisoning. I do not recommend to anyone. Premetto che siamo ospiti del Rocca Nettuno Hotel con sistemazione “All Inclusive”, ma siccome avevamo voglia di mangiare spaghetti con le vongole e dei crostacei, abbiamo cercato un ristorante vicino alla struttura e leggendo le ottime recensioni su questo ristorante, ci siamo fidati ed abbiamo prenotato un tavolo. Siamo stati bene accolti, ma se dobbiamo essere onesti, ci sono dei punti Positivi ed altri negativi che elencherò qui di seguito: cibo ottimo 👌 spaghetti alle vongole veraci al dente. Di secondo abbiamo ordinato gamberoni e scampi alla griglia con un contorno di patatine fritte e un contorno di melanzane alla griglia (Tutto Ottimo) nulla da dire, congratulazioni al cuoco 👨‍🍳 I punti negativi sono: lentezza mancanza di organizzazione camerieri dispersivi -abbiamo chiesto a tre camerieri differenti delle salviettine per pulire le mani. Tutti e tre hanno risposto “arrivano” ma alla fine non arrivavano, poi infine un cameriere ha detto “ ci dispiace sono terminate”, ma subito dopo un altro cameriere, ci ha portato le salviettine ma erano asciutte. abbiamo chiesto il conto, dopo 15 minuti arriva il conto, ma ci accorgiamo che al posto di fatturare 1/2 litro di vino Rosé, hanno fatturato 1 litro, solo perché il cameriere che ha servito il vino, ha messo 1/2 litro nella brocca da litro. Mio marito ha dovuto discutere alla cassa, per questa incongruenza. Insomma, la struttura è bella e caratteristica, il cibo ottimo, ma scusate la critica negativa sul personale, ma bisognerebbe rinnovare il personale con dei camerieri più attenti e svegli, per essere una struttura in piedi da decenni, ci sembrava di vedere una struttura alle prime armi dal personale che ci lavora. Questa critica, seppur parzialmente negativa, serve per dare degli spunti di miglioramento. Unica delusione sono stati questi incidenti...

Very very nice restaurant on the side of the old city. The menu is focused on seafood, the kitchen produces nothing less than excellent dishes that make you wish you can mane one more dish. The chef (also the owner) comes to each table personally and inquires whether the guests are fully satisfied with what they become, advises on dishes depending on guests preferences and makes sure you have the best possible experience at his place.
