Luogo estremamente suggestivo, ricchissimo di fascino e storia. Antico Lazzaretto di Venezia dove venivano confinati I malati per impedir loro la diffusione di malattie in città. Nonostante il vasto recupero che ha caratterizzato la struttura e che ha permesso di creare un polo attrattivo ed espositivo, purtroppo non aperto al pubblico se non in circostanze eccezionali, si trovano ancora iscrizioni murali risalenti a centinaia di anni fa. Pensare alla sofferenza vissuta in questo luogo, fa venire i brividi.....

Wer die besten künstlerischen VR Produktionen sehen möchte, kommt an der Venice Immersive - vor Jahren noch VR Venice genannt - nicht vorbei. Auf der dem Lido vorgelagerten Insel findet die Venice Immersive, eine Sektion der Biennale Cinema statt. Weil im 14. bis 16. Jhdt. als Unterbringungsstätte für Pestkranke genutzt, erhielt die Insel diesen Namen.
