A very peculiar building by the great Andrea Palladio... An unfinished palazzo close to the city center that has become quite iconic with its slender proportions and collosal aspect (regardless of its relatively small facade towards the street). An enchanting "palladiano incompiuto" that recalls how most of Palladio's urban residence were built: in stages, depending on the funding, but always according to the initial project. Nothing was being compromised! Worst case scenario, the working site was halted until further financing...

I call this the 'angry' man building. If you look st the facade you will recognise a face. We didn't go inside so I cannot comment about it. It is certainly an interesting building, but , yes, it does look peculiar.
