Samugawa Shrine

This shrine has been revered by people as the guardian deity of Samukawa.

It is Ronsha of Shikinaisha's Samukawa Shrine, so if that's the case, it's an old shrine with a long history.

It is said to be beneficial for family safety, traffic safety, navigational safety, business prosperity, as well as warding off bad luck and evil spirits.

The weather was very nice on the day I visited, so it was a beautiful and sunny shrine.

It's about 12 minutes from Hon-Chiba Station. It seemed like a few cars could be parked there as well.

You can get a goshuin stamp at the shrine office.

寒川の総鎮守として人々の崇敬を集めてきた神社。式内社の「寒川神社」の比定社だということで、そうなら歴史ある古社ですね。

家内安全、交通安全、航海安全、商売繁盛のほか、八方除け、厄除けのご利益があるとのこと。

参拝した日がとても良いお天気であったのもあり、晴れやかで素敵な神社でした。

本千葉駅からあるいて12分ほどです。車も数台止められるようでした。社務所で御朱印を頂けます。
