My family and I went to Mt. Hakodate today with bus as the ropeway under renovation right now. We were there from early evening until the sun set. We got to take pictures when the sun still out and with the light sparkling. Even tough it was raining, we still got to enjoy the view as other people did:) The view was stunning.
It was such a pleasant experience until I went back downstairs and many tourists (you can guess where) came. They talk so loudly and too many people came at the same time. What annoyed me wasn't that actually but in the toilet.
They put their used hand toiled paper IN THE HAND DRIER! Can't they even read?? Or at least try to observed their surrounding to KNOW what exactly that thing for. And it wasn't only that, but in one of the toilet seat, there were some pee there. I still can't accept if they forgot to flush the toilet, BUT THEY EVEN PEE IN THE TOILET SEAT. Ughhh, it made me so mad and annoyed. I can't respect people who isn't considerate of other people.-.
Fortunately, I got to watch a short movie and got the surprising-night-view from the theater...

I could spend an entire day up here just looking out as far as the eye can see. I love winter and the cold, so it was perfect timing for me, snow blanketed the ground and fell gentle from the sky. The cold air blowing ranges from gentle frosty breeze to bull whip to the face; reminds you you’re alive, ha ha.
But I’d imagine any season you visit would be beautiful. Don’t worry about crowds, sure there are other people there, work your way around the entire 360° of the top and you’ll find a turn to take photos or just look out at a majestic view. Enjoy it within the company of fellow humans. Go, now, don’t be shy,...
Read moreIt's a good experience taking the cable car up to the mountain though it's only a few minutes' ride. At the top, there're three levels that includes a viewing platform, a cafe restaurant and a souvenir shop. There's no limit on how long you can stay so my advice is come late afternoon, stay till it gets dark so you can enjoy both the day view and the night view. In my opinion the night view is worth it. Though my tour agents think the same so the later it gets the more the crowd is going to add on to the viewing platform. The cafe restaurant is another alternative if you can get a nice table with a view and make it a snack stop. We are glad we did it. Though it's a one time thing. Been there...
