In Hirosaki, there are not many hotel choices, but this hotel is not bad in Hirosaki.|This hotel is located in the center of Hirosaki city, but far from JR Hirosaki station, for some reason, the city center is not around JR station. So we took a taxi, it was a little over 1000 yen.|We were assigned Japanese-style room, as we were a party of 3. However, we were given only two keys. it was a little inconvenient to take a big bath on the top floor. I guess this hotel is still using the cylinder key rather than the card key, they cannot issue extra keys. |The room was a bit small for 3 but that was a price we paid for, and in a small city like Hirosaki, you cannot expect luxury. |Having said that, the big bath on the top floor was excellent Onsen, the room was clean, there was free apple juice, free ice cream after taking a bath, so Omotenashi was everywhere.|The breakfast buffet was a mixture of western and Japanese. There were some local food, which we enjoyed a lot.|Dormy Inn is usually categorized as a Business budget hotel in Japan, where main customers are business people. When we stayed, there were many business people as well as some group tourists from China. Having said that what this Dormy Inn Hirosaki offers is better than usual Business budget hotels offer in terms of services and location. Yes, you can use this hotel for your vacation in Hirosaki.
