A little hike up from the cup noodle museum and this park is a serene little getaway. Very peaceful and beautifully curated garden with a koi pond. The castle is small but offers up a wonderful view of Ikeda. There are a couple of ways to get up to the castle, one of which is through the tiny residential streets of suburban Osaka. There's also a vending machine that sells fish feed, and feeding the fish has been one of the most fun things we've done in Osaka so far!

Situating at the higher part from Hankyu Ikeda St., you will be required some sweating walk for several minutes. Though it is not a large place, flowers and pond are well maintained. Lighting equipment shows that some night service must be performed i this season. Miniature Ikeda Castle commands a fine view of Osaka and Kabuto Mt. also Nakayama and Kawanishi. I'm sure you will enjoy enough, cold drinks machinery and Ice cream are prepared.

If you are going to Ikeda, you must visit this place. It's worth a while. Im glad I didnt pass on this place. There were no crowd when I visited the place. It's quite a walk from the noodle place, but its worth it. I suggest to bring something to eat and drink there. It's really a nice and peaceful place. I would have stayed longer and maybe take a nap there if only my phone was charge. See the big lawn? I could sleep there next time.

Small but extremely well-kept castle grounds with a great view over Ikeda town. If you're already making the trip to the cup noodle museum, this is well worth a peaceful hour and a half or so. Sits on a little hill that gives a great view over Ikeda town too!

本当にの〜んびりとしたイイ公園です。遊具で遊んだり活発に走ったりしたいお子さんは目と鼻の先にある五月山公園に足を向けるでしょうし、こちらの公園は真逆でまだレジャーシートに座ったり寝転んでいるお子さんがいる親子連れの方や、年配の方、五月山にハイキングに行かれた方が下山後に休憩されていたり、割と静かにゆっくりベンチやレジャーシートに座って、飲み物を飲んだりお弁当を食べたり、読書をしたりとくつろいでいました。 とは言え。 こちらには室町時代から戦国時代にかけて、池田氏により築城された池田城があった跡地。 歴史的なスポットなのです。 その場所に２０００年かな？！に整備された公園です。天守閣？！お城？！もありましたが、こちらは想像と言うのでしょうか…正確に再現されたわけではないようですが、書物によると現存されていたものに似ているかも的なことが書いていました(勝手な私の受け取り方なので表示されているものを読んでみて下さい) 天守閣には登れます。２階建てです。足の不自由な方の為の座って階段が上がれるエスカレーターのようなものもありましたよ。 展望台になっていて、遠く梅田のビル群や見晴らしは良かったです。 お手洗いもキレイですし、もちろん公園なので入場も無料です。 阪急池田駅からは徒歩１５分もあれば到着です。

Very well maintained place, not so touristy, so if you prefer a more quiet and uncrowded castle, you can go here... the breeze was quite cold though i go here on early summer.
