Nice local onsen with 5 or 6 outdoor baths. Lots of people reading books in the warm onsens designed for long sitting.
It’s a bit dated but for 1,000 yen it’s local, close and easy to get to and fits the Bill for a get out of the house and enjoy and onsen afternoon or evening.
