Lets start with the fact that this is not in the best location i.e it's not on the coastline but a few miles/k m inland.||Now we paid 13,500 yen each ( our daughter is under 3 so she was free) but our nephew is 3 and a half so he paid 40% of the full price. ||For the money we got a very nice, clean, well maintained room in a Bali theme with veranda. In the fridge we had several free cans of juice, coffee and beer and little sweets which we all tucked into.||We choose the earlier sitting for dinner and started the 5/6 course meal at 5:30. Now from this time you can order as many drinks as you wish so i started with a nice g and t....well we built an empire on gin and tonics and it was a hot day!||After a short while the kids started getting restless so the very attentive staff ran over with cuppa chaps for them...nice touch. ||Also over dinner you will have your photos taken which will be in the lobby the next morning ready for you to pick up and view with the hangover i am sure you will have-at least if you are a Brit or Aussie or Kiwi :)||After dinner you can use a karaoke room for almost 2 hours or when asked to leave. During this time the drinks are free so get tucked in! ||HINT-in the middle of the drinks menu are the included free drinks you can order from so don't order the bottles of wine unless you want to pay for it. ||Anyway we are going back next year but for two nights so we can indulge the first night more and enjoy the fantastic treatments they do IE the head massage is beautiful! ||||PS the staff are lovely!!||PPS try the massage chair nearest the water machine in the...
Read moreOne night here with family was MARVELLOUS! Possibly the best hotel / resort that I've stayed in for the money in over 20 years in Japan! Fantastic service. Lots of things to do. Excellent food. Lots of freebies (ice cream, beer, cake + coffee - even photos of us taken at dinner time etc), electric bikes to use on request. Late night bar and bbq and fireworks believe it or not. Beautiful views and lovely rooms with very nice bedroom set ups.
An hour and a half on the lovely Odoriko train from Yokohama. Then a 15 minute walk (or free bus transfer) up the hill.
Staff were all super friendly, polite and generally lovely. I even lost a wallet at one stage and that got back to me quickly.
LOTS of things for kids + adults to do - bouldering/darts/billiards/arcade games/basketball court/mini-golf games/manga room/even a dam 'work room' ha ha.
Anyway - a wonderful experience. I can thoroughly recommend Anda Resort Izukogen. It was a GREAT stay.... and not that expensive surprisingly enough - though we stayed on a Sunday night in June (Friday + Saturdays will be more expensive I'm sure like everywhere)
Thank you to Anda Resort Izukogen and all the staff for giving us a super friendly, relaxing and...

We booked 19:30 on the first night as we thought 17:30 was a bit early, however, we did not have supper as we were still full. So, we changed our dinner slot from 19:30 to 17:30 :-) from the following day.||||if you also would like to enjoy supper starting from 22:30, it'd be better to book 17:30 slot for dinner.||||== Services ==||||Excellent!! Every single staff was very friendly and always gave you a big smile every time they saw you. There is no tip system in Japan but we did as service was so good. I could tell that they genuinely wish all guests to enjoy during their stays. ||||Highly...
