It was right at the ticket gate of Tobu Kawagoe station. Since all the coin lockers were fully locked and used, I stepped in the tourist center to store my bag. It cost me JPY600. I’d bought the wrong ticket to get from Kawagoe to Kawaguchiko - (I think due to some accident) was looking to see if I could either get it upgraded or refunded and rebought but the personnel were extremely unhelpful in any way - no English and didn’t seem to care … just pointed me towards the ticket machines - which obviously I knew...

Looking for the luggage lockers but the one in front of the information center was full so I asked them where I could find another. Then they said, well we can keep it for you until 8pm for 600yen. So I was able to keep my carry-on luggage there! A little bit of work to fill out the form and showing ID. But definitely the...
