Kurashiki Coffee Lumine Kawagoe Shop — Restaurant in Kawagoe

Note: This is just my personal opinion. An okay coffee store/chain that seems to be struggling with its identity. It aims to appeal to a wealthy middle-class demographic, yet none of its products are particularly special or standout. The coffee options and drinks are decent, but they lack the depth found in a proper coffee shop with a variety of roasts and beans. The food is also okay but not particularly impressive.

While you can work here, the working area is quite small, and the design appears to be geared more towards people meeting and having slow, casual conversations. The service is decent, and I didn’t have a bad experience, but the overall vibe of the place feels a bit off.

If you’re looking for a spot to meet someone or even go on a date, this place is not a bad choice. However, I wouldn't recommend it over places like Starbucks if your primary goal is to find a...

川越に用事があり、駅から出た際にたまたま見つけました。お洒落な雰囲気で、スイーツも多数取り揃えている様子に釣られて、ふらっと立ち寄ってみる。平日ランチタイムでしたが、スムーズにカウンター席に着くことができました。テーブル席希望の場合は少し待つようかもしれません。

頼んだのはミルクセーキと抹茶パフェ。提供スピードは並程度。ミルクセーキは想像していたよりさっぱり飲むことができ、思わず1口で飲み干しそうになりました(笑)抹茶パフェもあるんだったと思い、途中で抹茶パフェもつまみ始める……食べづらい！(笑)スプーンを差し込むと抹茶パウダーが下にはらはらと散っていきます。しかし、これはたっぷり惜しげもなく盛られている証拠。机が汚れてしまって申し訳ない感じはしましたが、一思いにスプーンを沈めます。この抹茶パフェ、上部にさつまいもがごろごろ入っていて食べ応えがありますね。見た目も華やかだし食べ応えがあって、こういった喫茶店的な業態のお店にしてはお値段も安価。ミルクセーキと抹茶パフェの2点で1360円、他の喫茶店は下手したらパフェ1つでこの値段なので、かなりのアドバンテージかと思います。 私が行った時間は客層もよく、静かで穏やかな時間を過ごすことができました。他のフードメニューも気になるし、また来たいお店となりました。
