It reflects the passage of time — many of the original torii gates are gone, but restoration work is underway. The area is peaceful, almost sacred, with smaller shrines scattered along narrow paths winding up through the forest.

It’s a perfect spot for shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) — to walk slowly, breathe in the scent of the woods, and feel the spirit of the place.

A word of caution: snakes may appear further up the trail, so stay aware and dress accordingly. But if you’re passing by, it’s well...

Really beautiful and quiet shrine. Although be warned that there's more than 200+ steps before you get to it. There are some small chairs on the way up which you can use to...
