i will come here one day and see the home of francis of the filth
edit: I visited Sept 6th 2024 & came back on my last day in Japan Sep 21st 2024. I prayed to the dark lord chin chin in many places (I prayed at the rock paper scissors arena twice). I left a copy of "Francis of the Filth" in the park with a personal note. The island itself has OK transit, but not enough to avoid walking more than usual. Similar vibes to Odiaba as a decent densly populated island, but smaller and much less to "do". The island feels great to live in as a child (ok transit, decent spread of shops & restaurants, density), but definitely not great to live in as a adult. Despite nice coastal vibes, there's not much to do here. The island is small and it'll take 2 trains at least to get out to the bigger world. As a result, I felt a bit of claustrophobia creep in as I stayed longer. The shopping mall & the area around is pretty nice and a good mix of shops. I wouldn't mind shopping there day to day, but that's pretty much it.
I'll be coming again in 2025: let's see what I have...
