My Sake World is a fantastic experience. First entering this quaint little place, Nana and Natsuki had welcomed us to their little test lab bar. They both shared with us their knowledge of sake and how each type of sake tastes. Ranging from a variety of different sakes of different boque, they gave a tasting tour that gave you a wide understanding with flavor from fruity to dry and umami. Then on to making our own flavourful blends of sakes to try, our hosts were wonderful with teaching us the ropes on to a new world of blending sake. I highly recommend the stop if sake making interests you. Book ahead as they only do 4 workshops a day with limited seating. They explained that making blends takes the technical out of making sake from scratch but presents a wonderful way to make your own unique version of sake to enjoy. Hosted in a beautifully understated Japanese-style space, this tasting session offered far more than we expected. We sampled 12 carefully curated sake, ranging from delicate and floral to bold and umami-rich. The presentation was clear, thoughtful, and delivered with both knowledge and warmth.

The highlight, though, was the blending experience: using pipettes, we created our own original 4 cl sake blends from any 4–6 of the samples. It felt like a rare chance to be both guest and craftsman — fun, personal, and surprisingly insightful.

We experienced a perfect Sake lession this afternoon! We were greeted directly at the reception and then showed to the tasting table! The atmosphere is so calm and nice and Nana was too friendly! After a perfect introduction in what sake is and how it is made, she gave us the opportunity to taste like 4 sake from the different types and then we continued with 8 more sake to find our favorities.
