Tiels Tea & Taps — Attraction in Mishima

Stopped in for some drinks and food and everything was exceptional. There is a wide variety of craft beers that were made on site (including a corn beer, which was superb), all of which were very well made. All the beer was clean and had great body. Everything paired superbly with the food, which was also excellent, particularly the pulled pork, fish and chips, and shredded carrot with cumin.

Very much worth stopping in here and trying what they offer. All...

I was walking back to my hotel and stumbled across this microbrew pub, located just a short walk from Mishima station. The menu is limited but quality is nice (actually the quality of almost everything in Japan is high), and the beers are superb, especially paired with a big plate of pickled local veggies, which was also outstanding. I don’t when if ever I’ll be back in Mishima, but if/when I do return I’ll be makin’ a beeline for more beer, here!...

What an amazing experience I had at Tiels Taps. Excellent beer selection with a lot of distinct flavors (cinnamon apple was a delight), food was well elevated above typical microbrewery fare, and the staff and compatriots at the bar were so incredibly hospitable and friendly, truly made me feel part of the community despite my language barrier.
