If you are arriving by train, hotel access could not be more convenient. You simply cross the street and walk about a half-block north, to the hotel entrance.||I had booked a King Premium room with breakfast, and the room turned out to be very well-designed and comfortable. There was plenty of laptop workspace, good seats and good lighting for reading, and the bed was very comfortable. There was also lots of storage, both in cupboards and dressers. The bath/shower was in a separate room, with the now trendy style of having the shower and bath in the same room, as a separate room. ||The design felt like it was a combination of Japanese and North American styles, with light wood and sliding doors to cut off the sleeping area and the bath area. ||Breakfast was excellent, a buffet in a large room with some tables looking over the river. There were many choices (cereals, yogurts, many types of danishes and buns, eggs cooked to order as well as omelettes, lots of fruit, various kinds of cooked vegetables, various salads, plus of course noodles, rice, and other Japanese breakfast dishes). ||Just across the street from the hotel, on the opposite side to the railway station, is a riverside park with a walking/running track along the river, as well as periodic seating areas. I enjoyed going there for a picnic supper by the river both evenings I was there, with food picked up at some of the excellent bakeries or takeout food places in the train station just across the street. ||Access to Nagasaki public transit is easy from the hotel, as most tram and bus routes stop on the eastern side of the train station (opposite side of the train station to the side the hotel is on). It's about a 200 to 250 m walk to any of the bus or tram stops.||Overall, a great experience. If prices remain reasonable for the quality of this hotel, I would definitely stay here again.
