My family and I went to this ski area after visiting the Nikko Tosho-Gu Shrine. This ski area is about 45 minutes from the shrine by car and was the perfect place to complete our one-day trip to the Nikko. The ski area had 4 runs open and 3 lifts. 3 of the runs were definitely beginner with the 4th being barely intermediate. There was a nice place for my wife and kids to play for free as I rode the runs. We went on a Wednesday and were just about the only people on the mountain. There are two rental store for the ski and snowboard gears.the one which is near to the ticket counter was little expensive than the one you will find at the south side.
