Sakuragi Shrine — Attraction in Noda

Quite a large shrine with an impressively large Torii. There are a number of smaller shrines located in a pleasant natural wooded area outside the main shrine. The shrine sells a variety of Omamori and other items and of course you can return your old Omamori too. The staff were very helpful even with basic Japanese language skills I got on fine, English is not really spoken. If you are visiting the shrine for the first time please take the time to and look up the correct etiquette on the Internet. There is a large car park and bicycle park and the shrine has good toilet and vending machine facilities...

I should preface this review by saying I went in early April, when the Sakura were still in bloom (though I think just past Tokyo’s peak this year). With that out of the way, this is one of my favorite shrines. If you’re into shrines and temples, I feel like it might even be worth the trip from Tokyo, but you probably would have to be quite the shrine otaku. If you happen to be in the area, you absolutely should go.

The goshuin are gorgeous and their goshuin book and pouch for the book are so pretty, among the prettiest I’ve seen. Even the parking lot is one of the prettiest parking lots...

※神社では、2024年9月1日〜11月30日まで、東武アーバンクライン線と沿線五社の神社がコラボして、「開運・御縁線巡り」という御朱印集めのイベント中のようで、対象神社五社全ての御朱印を集めると東武アーバンクライン線のイラストが入ったオリジナル御朱印帳がもらえるようです。お時間とご興味のある方は参加なさってはいかがでしょうか。😊（詳細は写真のイベント案内をご参照ください） 母の御朱印集めに同行し、こちらの神社へ車で伺いました。車では、外環道三郷JCTから常磐自動車道へ入り、流山ICを出て県道5号線（松戸・野田線）を経て向かいました。電車では東武アーバンクライン線・野田市駅から徒歩で13分程の様です。駐車場は、神社の神門前の細い道を経て、大鳥居そばの第二駐車場に駐車しました。第一駐車場は砂利の様でしたが、こちらは舗装されていてスペースも広いのでとても停めやすかったです。神社周辺には神社の無料駐車場がたくさんあるので、繁忙期でなければ停められないことはなさそうです。駐車場から境内までは大鳥居を括り3分程歩きます。途中にもお社（日天社）があるのでそちらも必見です。伺った日は平日の10時頃でしたので、駐車場も神社も混んでおらず、ゆったりと境内を見てまわることができました。暑さの残る季節に伺ったので少々暑かったですが、境内は綺麗に整えられていて、吹く風に揺れる、桜形の絵馬が心地良い音を立てていて、とても清々しく気持ちのいい場所でした。又、トイレがとても綺麗で、ほんのりとお香の香りが漂い、入り口にはトイレの神様のお社があったり、授乳室が東武線の電車や駅を模してあったりして驚かされ、そしてとても癒される空間でしたので、是非とも必見です！境内のおみくじのコーナーには多種多様なおみくじが置いてあり、どれを引こうか迷いましたが、サクラの可愛いストラップが入ったおみくじ（¥200）を引きました。（写真参照）御朱印はお札やお守りが授与できる総合窓口（9:30〜17:00）にて、初穂料¥500で授与できます。可愛いサクラ柄のクリアホルダーに入っているお心遣いが...
