Seikantei" is a Sukiya-style shoin-style building built around 1906. It is the former residence of the Marquis Naganari Kuroda, a politician who was active from the Meiji to the early Showa period. The Marquis of Kuroda is the thirteenth head of the Kuroda family, who is most relied on by Hideyoshi Toyotomi and follows the flow of "Kuroda Kanbei", who was called a genius military officer. The location of Seikantei is located on the south-facing slope of the outer earthen base of the former Odawara Castle Sannomaru, and it is a building of great historical value, with a 118-year-old national registered tangible cultural property building built on a 400-year-old historical site. In addition, on a sunny day, you can see the Manazuru Peninsula, Sagami Bay, and Mt. Hakone from the main house
