The Hill Of Hope — Attraction in Onomichi

Part of the Kosanji Temple complex included in the ¥1400 admission fee. Very cool marble (all shipped from Italy) sculpture park. Best seen on a clear day - but take sunglasses as the glare can be intense!

This has become a popular Instagram spot so can get busy with groups of posing youngsters, which are fun to watch :)

There is an elevator to avoid the last set of steps to the sculpture area and a slope from there, but not sure how easy it would be get there through the temple in a wheelchair.

Small cafe with drinks and simple menu, but seems to close...
