先に訪問した建勲神社にて、こちらの三宝寺が織田家菩提寺と伺い立ち寄らせていただきました。 赤色系の瓦が珍しく、目を奪われます。立派な門です。元ご住職はお若く、御朱印を大変丁寧に書いていただきました。 なぜ天童市で信長公が祀られてるのかを巡って、大変興味深く訪問出来ました。6月ということもあり睡蓮がきれいでした。 駐車場は門の左手にあり、イベントとぶつからなければ混むことは無さそうです。

天童藩織田家の菩提寺です。織田家代々の位牌や当時の宣教師に書かせた日本一信長公に似ていると言われる肖像画はこちらのお寺にあるとのことです。 御朱印も丁寧に書いて貰えますので、その間に本堂へのお参りをさせていただくのがベストです。

織田信長の肖像画を見たくて、お盆の忙しい日に予約もせず訪問してしまいました。 予約が必要とはしりませんでしたが、快く、雨の中、お堂の鍵を開けてくださりました。 ありがとうございました。

お寺の方が予約を入れてから来てくださいと、優しく話してくださいました。

信長の肖像画は、威厳があり暫く見惚れてしまいました...
