Iwashita New Ginger Museum — Attraction in Tochigi

This is a very special place for food and just 意味がわからない mood. It is crazy! The iwashika character at the show was just jumping and running around while dancing. It was a very fun time. The food is delicious. コロケand ice cream were the best. Nice place for small kids, there is a kids corner next the ジンジャー神社where many kids can play, jump and laugh. The shop is packed with all the necessary: toys, keychains, ginger products, beer, etc. Nice time with the family. There were 2 shows, the Iwashika live performance and the sound and light show at the 5m tall ginger. All in all a great half day there...

This is a small, but jam packed ginger store. Upon entry, which is free, they gave us a cup of soup with ginger. Which was nice due to the cold weather. There was very little explanation in English if any. But lots of pictures, so you understood the gist. Kids would like this to, as it is very bright and typical Japanese. There is even a game square with large stuffed pink deer for kids and a large gaming screen. You can definately get through it all in 45 mins without rushing to much...would be longer with kids. 15 mins walk from train station 30 mins by train to Ashikaga...

岩下の新生姜を使った料理のカフェだったり、 岩下の新生姜の商品やグッズ、

岩下の新生姜の歴史や製法の説明、

歴代パッケージの展示等々(`・ω・´)

そして、イワシカちゃんパラダイス(`・ω・´)

イワシカちゃんのグリーティングだったり、 （普段は土日祝のみだが夏は平日もやってる） イワシカちゃんのジンジャー神社(`・ω・´) そもそも、ジンジャー神社の狛鹿が、 イワシカちゃんなのである。

ちなみに、入館料は無料である(ΦωΦ)ﾌﾌﾌ… 駐車場も無料である(ΦωΦ)ﾌﾌﾌ… ちなみにバスツアーもある(`・ω・´)ｽｺﾞｲ

さて、一応グルメブロガーなので、 CAFE NEW GINGERからご紹介しよう(`・ω・´)ﾌﾌﾌ

こちらはすべて岩下の新生姜を使用したメニューであり、 そのレシピも公開されていて家でも作ってほしいようである(`・ω・´)

吾輩がいただいたのは、季節のオススメ系のこちら。 岩下の新生姜とうな次郎の冷やし中華～特製爽やかダレ～ とピンクジンジャーソーダ(`・ω・´)

爽やかである(

・ω・´) 一年分の岩下の新生姜を食べた気がするが、 実は、このピンクジンジャーソーダで思い出したが、 読者のお嬢さん方はご存知のとおり、 ひなたにもかつて、ピンクジンジャーサワーという、 岩下の新生姜を竹串に一本刺したサワーがあった(´・ω・

さらに、ひなたのグランドメニューの、 肉巻き新生姜は、岩下の新生姜である(

・ω・´) 後日、バイトのYちゃんさんに聞いたので間違いなし(
