Perfect place to eat after visiting the Gotokuji Temple (~10min walking distance). Both owners are super happy to great you, also don’t worry there is an English menu! I was here on a Saturday at 12:30 and there was no line. Food came super quick (~10min). The cold soba with shrimp was really tasty, make sure you bring a big appetite when ordering the large portion as it was really massive! Prices are also super fair, I paid 2150¥ for the large meal + beer (only cash possible, no credit card 💳). I would totally come here again !

Absolutely phenomenal. The host was so friendly, they will provide point cards for you to order and assist with the language barrier. The food was very cheap and great value for money. The hot soba noodles were definitely my favourite but this is a point of preference because the broth was just fantastic. The cold soba noodles is very refreshing and would be my go to on a hot day.
