Hotel Palace Japan — Attraction in Tokyo

The rooms are small but they've warned you about that, if you see on your booking website, the room is 5,5square meters. I stayed here 1 week, in a private room. There are the options of a double room (with a bunk bed) or dormitory. Since I don't like to share the room with a bunch of strangers I was looking for somewhere I could be close to everything and have my own room for an affordable price. So The room is small, but it has a good closet you can put your things in. The bed is ok, and there's a tiny tiny fridge you can keep your dinner/drink/breakfast things cold, but even a half litre box of milk will barelly fit in straight. its is very very small, if you're alone you can keep in there tops 2 meals. But you know, it's nice to be able to keep food refrigerated. There is also a shared kitchen in the lobby with a microwave and a stove, kitchen utensils etc, so you can use that. There's coin laundry available, It is well located, near train/metro station, 7eleven, lawson and otherconvenience stores right there. I'm very antisocial so I just heated the food and ate in my room, which is possible because there's a small table you can eat at, but you can also eat in the lobby. Even though the rooms face a mainstreet with much traffic, the windows are very good and isolate the sound very well. The walls are also good. I haven't heard anything from my neighbours, and from a side door in the hallway it is possible to see the tokyo skytree. In terms of cleaning, the shared bathroom could be cleaner, it could offer more things, so I'd advise you to bring flipflops for the shower. However, it is not so bad, but it could be much better. It is cleaned everyday. There's only one female bathroom stall for each floor but it's more than enough, I never had to wait to go. there are 3 showers per floor but I also never had to wait. The staff is nice. The cleaning ladies don't speak english but you know, just basic japanese greetings are enough. The reception people speak very good english. It's enough for a short period of time, and if you're willing to pay extra for your own room, then you'll be just fine. I've seen kids in the lobby so I also think families...

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights with my husband. Check in and check out was a breeze. The lady at the reception who checked us in spoke very good English, as well as the other staff. Stayed at room 502. It had a comfortable bunk bed, a small table and chair, a tv for each bed, and storage space for your things. Toiletries were provided as well. Room was quite small, there would be no more walking space when you opened your luggage on the floor. But the cleanliness and the quietness of this hotel makes up for the tiny room! The floor had a ladies only toilet very close to our room and a shower area. They were spotless. Ladies only shower rooms were located on the 8th floor. In our 4 nights here I did not encounter any other guest using the toilet or the showers, it seemed like we were the only ones there even if there were a lot of us staying. Guests can cook in the pantry and use the common dining hall. That's where we and other guests usually hung out eating, resting and relaxing before turning in. Coin laundry was also available. Wifi was fast everyhwere. There's a lawson and 711 very close to this hotel as well as a supermarket. The train stations were a good 15 min walk. I also saw a burger king and mcdonalds close to the stations. It was easy to get to from the Narita airport. Streets were usually quiet so we often overslept thinking it was still very early. In summary, I love this hotel. Convenient location, very clean and friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again...
