Asakusa Mosque — Attraction in Tokyo

Assalaamualaikum warohmatullahi wabarokatuh. Need to say thank you for letting me praying in there this magrib.

The mosque is easily noticed from the street, yet easily find in Google map.

It is clean and obviously well managed.

The first floor provides common room for meeting, drinking pot is available as well. As written in the board, wudhu for men is available in the second floor. Next to women praying room.

Men praying room is on the 3rd floor, with quite well maintained wudhu facilities. So wide space as well.

The praying room is so clean that we may feel really khusyuk praying here.

Mosque are very rare in Japan. This one is located in Asakusa and pretty near with Sensoji temple (20 minutes by foot). The size isn't very big but it's clean and tidy. From the design that i saw, they used the ground floor for social activities, 2nd floor for women to pray, and 3rd floor for men to pray. Like others mosque, they provide a shelf full of quran and many religious book to read. Furthermore, It's free as usual but you could always donate some of your money to help maintaining this mosque. I was staying in Ueno and needed to offer my Fajar Salaat, due to unavailability of Internet, i was unable to find it first day but second day I found it but missed Fajar, The Imam Masjid opened Masjid for us ( me and my cousin Qasim).
