Worst Dental Service Experience ever encountered. Was told to arrive 30 minutes early, didn’t even get X-rays for an hour & 45 minutes, and that’s because multiple nurses stopped me as I was walking out the door after having enough. More waiting—X-rays were archaic, incomplete, and not even done in certain areas related to the dental issues. Was there on a referral, with a referral letter, in Japanese, completely outlining multiple issues, and the dental staff apparently had not even gone over the letter, due to an extreme lack of demonstrated knowledge on the reasonings for being there that day. Walked out again before they could even begin a physical exam; would never recommend anybody walk in to that place. Unapologetic staff who can’t handle simple scheduling or comprehend written documentation in their own language, and they still had the gaul to charge me for my wasted time, after taking the Shinkansen to get there. How can they handle something as complicated as complex oral surgery? There’s no way... Plenty of other options to...
Read moreI had to spend a full week here as a patient. There are several doctors who are quite fluent in English; many of the nursing staff have English; and there are English speakers working at the international desk who can assist non-Japanese patients with everything they might need. They even walked me through the discharge and payment procedures, which can be onerous if you don't speak the language. My impression of the medical staff was that they were rather overly cautious about things, which might cause your bill to be higher than it otherwise might be. The hospital meals served to me were small but nutritious (beware that you will get three servings of rice each day, which might become tedious). For a private room with a private bathroom, three meals a day, and medical care for seven full days, I was out 270,000 yen. Not bad under the circumstances. I have no regrets in using this hospital. All in all, they took pretty...
Read moreAfter 10 years of avoiding the dentist due to a fear of them, I received a recommendation from local dentist to come here to remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth (I was too much of a wimp to work with my local dentist). The staff here were very nice and attentive and although I was terrified the entire time they were extremely understanding and patient with me. The food they served during my recovery was tasty and nutritious. Some of the nurses are pretty cute as well! It's super busy because they deal with the toughest patients so you'll have to wait a long time (it took almost 4 months from my first visit to surgery with half day visits sometimes waiting hours between doctors) but it was worth it. The staff here are saints and I don't know how they do...
