I stayed here for about two and a half weeks. This place is amazing. Fantastic location that is close to every public transportation. It is close to many amenities including restaurants and convenience stores. The hotel has many dining establishments as well. Many of those establishments are quite pricey l, but usually this hotel can have more affluent guests that can afford those places. The Chef's Live Kitchen is a great buffet option especially with the included breakfast option that came with our reservation. The staff speak great English here and are very helpful. Actually, I witness certain staff are actually multilingual so it is a very foreign friendly location. There is a great view of Tokyo Bay from this hotel and the windows are huge and so clean so you can appreciate that view. I did not make use of the gym, but I went to that floor to see what that is about and it appears to be a converted room for gym purposes so it may disappoint those of you looking for that, but for my needs I did not require that since Tokyo has so many stairs to climb that I did not need it. The rooms are big for Tokyo standards. The bathrooms are nice. Everything is clean and well-maintained. It is a smoke-free establishment which is what I was looking for. Those of you looking for a swimming pool will be disappointed, but I did not need one because I wanted to spend most of my time exploring Tokyo. If anything, the bathroom has a nice tub that you can use to relax in. You are also within walking distance from Tokyo Tower. The third floor has quick access to a train line (Yurikamome) that can go to places like Ginza or Daiba and both of those places have fantastic shipping options (Ginza shopping locations like Uniqlo flagship store or Daiba's Diver City Mall). I miss this place everyday since I left Japan and it became like a home away from home. Ah, I almost forgot to mention about the Nagomi lounge for those of you that availed that option. Fantastic option for Japanese dining and they give a sample of what to expect from Japanese cuisine. Very delicious and filling. Just make sure you stay while eating. It came in 3 rounds so don't make the mistake of almost leaving after round one like me since I am not familiar with that style of dining. They also had a lot of beverage options that you can get at will by the bar especially alcohol, but since I don't really drink I did not get a chance to drink their sake.

- Book this hotel with points, status is AMB-Diamond. The booked room is classic, upgrade to classic with separate bathroom with river view on the app before check in. - No mineral water provided in room. - Late check out at 1600 - 2000yen hotel credit provided - No welcome card, or anything else in the room. Just a bare room. - Arrive at the hotel for check-in around 18pm, seem like almost everything are self-services here. No one to let you know, guide or lead you. You need to searching and asking yourself on where to check in. - Went to 20fl for checking in at Club IC. - Took some time to complete the check in (Around 15 minutes). Asking for Breakfast as welcome amenity but later receive point instead, does not know why - may be due to communication problem. Do not want to go through the discussion with hotel staff again so just let it go. - Evening cocktail have some snack and hot plate serve by staffs. Food is bland and nothing special. Look a little bit cheap for the hotel brand. No cocktail menu provided, there are some liquids, wine and beer which you can help yourself. There was also 1.5 hours time limit. - The room is fine everything function as it should. - Get to the club for Breakfast, food quality, variety and arrangement on the club IC are similar to hotel such as HIEX/IBIS. There are a few concentrated juice, coffee machine, bread, smashed egg, bacon, sausages, small salad, that's about it. - Elevator is slow. - Location is far away from the city but near a monorail station. - Nothing much around the hotel. - Overall for this hotel, It provided all necessaries for staying during a trip to Tokyo with the same quality as HIEX, IBIS, Courtyard. Depend on price tag, decide for yourself. - On my stay, Loyalty appreciation is low almost to nothing. Only on guarantee condition are honor. Show less

Had a recent stay here. Intercontinental Tokyo Bay as you expect from a 5 star hotel - delivered us 5 star service without a doubt. All the hoteliers and hotel staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. All the fine details such as someone pressing your lift for you, getting your luggage ready for your taxi and warm service was very evident. The person that checked us in was very accommodating - my wife asked if they had any available upgrades and we were given a newly renovated room on the highest floor. Our first impression of the room was that it felt very classy, clean and quite modern feeling. Space was ample, the room was 40m2 so there was plenty of space. Amenities provided was very good - we asked for extra towels and they given us a stack. I was rather pleased with this as they given me the impression that they go the extra mile for their guests - what you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. One word of feedback would be the lightning in our room, would be good to put a light in the central part above the bed as we did find lighting lacking in some areas. You had to turn on the side lights to get whole room lit up. Not essential but would improve your room just that bit more. Location is quite good - they provide complimentary shuttle service to two different train stations. Make sure you check the times for the bus schedule. Iconic Tsujiki Fish Market is about a 20-25 minute walk from here for your pleasure. It was my wifes birthday too so when we checked out - the hotelier given her a small gift of chocolates which we felt was a very nice gesture and going the extra mile. Thank you for providing us a wonderful stay.
