That was the worst food I had ever eat in Japan! I live in Japan quite long. And I know how Japanese like to try new delicious food and what does food means for them. I'm vegetarian. And when my husband reserved cruise he asked for vegetarian set and also said them about my birthday. He decided to take vegetarian course too, even he is not. So when dinner started, first we got fried on oil vegetables with mushrooms. That was so so but fine. Just there was some grass we could not chew, that was like hay for cows. Well next we got was pasta with milk and some sliced champignons. That was even not cream souce. Just milk. Looked like they just mixed all ingredients right before put on our table. Had you ever eat milk makarone in your childhood? So that was the same. Third dish exceeded all expectations! They called that "tofu steak". Well, on the plate about 70 Gramm of tofu and on the top is some souce with beans or black rice. And tofu and souce did not combined at all and taste was right like from just opened 100 yen shop pack. So cheap!!! And finall is desert. Which we did not get, but over clients yes. We got plate with about 50 Gramm of fruits per each of us. Here my patience finished! I could not understand why they gave me milk pasta but not icecream and peace of chees cake? Where is logic? Who decided that? Who made that dinner for us and do they have any idea what vegetarian food is? Or they let to do it just to helper or dish washer on the kitchen. Or just opened fridge and put in our plates all stuffs they don't need?!!!! Or they did not think we will come, and created that culinary masterpiece at the last moment. And who ate my desert?!!! In the final we paid the same price as over costomers. One more thing. When my husband made reservation for dinner he said that I have birthday. But manager did not ask him, do we want birthdays cake or my name to write it on a desert plate. So I just watched how over costomers got their cakes and really wanted to cry. I don't know how their normal course tastes. Think, normal enough. But if you are vegetarian I do not recommend you their company. And not just because food was really awful. I think the reason, they can not work with costomers who are not like common customer. That calls on Japanese "sabetsu". I felt...

Read moreOur first-time experience aboard the Symphony cruise ship in Japan was nothing short of exceptional. We made our reservation through the klook app three weeks in advance, opting for the Japanese Beef Steak French Set Food package to secure a window seat, and the process was seamless. The presence of a live pianist on board added a sentimental touch, particularly for my girlfriend, who was moved to tears by the beautiful music. Although the food was satisfactory, it was the magnificent views and extraordinary ambiance that truly stole the show.
The highlight of the cruise was undoubtedly the opportunity to witness iconic Tokyo landmarks such as Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Sky Tree, and the Rainbow Bridge from a completely different perspective. Our server, Wilma, truly elevated our experience with her attentive and cheerful service, promptly delivering our meals with a smile. The only drawback was the slightly expensive wine, but this was to be expected on a luxury cruise.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Symphony cruise for anyone seeking a unique way to explore Tokyo. The combination of live music, delectable cuisine, and unparalleled views made for an unforgettable evening that we will cherish for...
