Different style of Japanese bathhouse with a great vibe. Staff is young and crowd is a mix between young and middle aged. Very clean, with two baths at two different temperatures, a cold bath (15 C), a sauna (between 85 C and ~90 C), and seats to rest indoor and outdoors.
For foreigners interested in going, they don’t speak too much English, so let me leave these steps:
As you enter , take off your shoes and leave it in the locker. The machines take cash or transportation card (if you don’t have either, the staff at the counter can take card). You can buy just bath, or bath + sauna from the machine. If you don’t have a towel you can also buy towel set from the machine as well. After receiving your ticket the staff will take your ticket and shoe box key and then give you a key for the locker (and sauna wristband if purchased) in your respective area. Once finished return your locker key (and sauna wrist band if you purchased the sauna option) in exchange for your shoebox key to leave.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re interested in experiencing the...
Read moreThe first out of 3 places to reach back out and tell me I could come, as I’m an American girly with tattoos and it’s hard finding anyone who allows tattoos but the 30 minute walk was WELL worth it.
This facility was clean, the staff was kind, and I should have left my products at home because the stuff they supplied here was incredible. I also work in the beauty industry so I was highly impressed with y the facial care products. The mask they had left my hair and extensions very soft.
11/10 would walk hours just to come back to this place.
Yet! Be respectful and translate the papers you’ll see in the bathrooom outside of it.
They have pamphlets outside of the changing room. I did the mistake of translating while in there and did not mean to disrespect at all. Someone kindly helped me though. ❤️
Ended it by stopping at the local Conbini to get more water and snacks for my walk back...
Read moreI don't understand the appeal. It is small and clean. There is a constant line to use the tiny sauna in an already too crowded sento. There are also two baths; one hot, one warm and carbonated, a few standing showers, and no place to rest. The changing room has few seats, and the staff congregate locker usage in the same places so that you're taking turns between 4-7 people for the floor space in front of your respective lockers while other "sections" of the two locker walls went unvisited during my time in the locker room. The staff are young and inexperienced. Some of them are fairly rude. At first, I thought I had entered an adult club due to the neon lights and too loud music. It has a cruisy feel. 100% won't return. Not recommended until the...
