FRESHNESS BURGER Shibuya Higashi — Restaurant in Tokyo

Upper scale burger place. Slightly more expensive than the likes of McDonald's or Lotteria. Serve wedges rather than fries and have a few more special drinks (smoothies etc) on offer. They do cook your burger fresh (hence the name) so not particularly 'fast' food. But seems to be good quality. This branch only has a small eating in area. Enough space for about 15 people max, maybe less. Friendly staff. Young man who served me tried to use English, which was nice. I would eat here again, but...

Food was decent, came out fast. Counter person was not patient. I speak Japanese but she impatiently spoke English to me - there wasn’t a line or anything, and I merely asked if they had bacon (no).

I don’t think she was native Japanese and it shows in her manner of treating customers.

Been in Japan for three months now, and it’s rare I get treated very coldly by service people - they usually encourage me and compliment my speaking.

La calidad es muy buena. El staff no es amistoso con los turistas. Si bien existe una barrera idiomática, en general en Japón el staff es servicial y te asiste cuanto puede. En esta ocasión el staff tuvo mala actitud al punto de casi darme la vuelta e irme. Recomiendo la franquicia; no recomiendo esta locación ( octubre 16 2023 - horario de la cena)

The quality is very good. The staff is not friendly to tourists. Although there is a language barrier, in general in Japan the staff is helpful and assists you as much as they can. On this occasion the staff had a bad attitude to the point of almost turning around and leaving. I recommend the franchise; I do not recommend this location (October 16, 2023 - dinner time)
