This place is truly amazing for a group of four! For a Japanese hotel, it offers a surprising number of great amenities. It is extremely accessible, just a 5-minute walk from the train station, and has plenty of public parking options if you're renting a car.
I really appreciated how clean everything was. From the lobby to the rooms, the entire hotel was spotless. On a past trip, I stayed at an Airbnb in Akihabara that was dusty and smelled old. This was the complete opposite.
Our room comfortably fit four adults with four pieces of luggage, and despite staying during the peak of Japan's scorching summer, I can confidently say the air conditioning worked perfectly.
Check-in and check-out were effortless. Everything was done through your phone, which made the process smooth and completely language-barrier-free.
The location is fantastic, especially for what's nearby. There’s a Lawson convenience store right beside the hotel, plus tons of restaurants, izakayas, and a shopping center by the station. Even though the area is quieter and more relaxed, your nights definitely won’t be boring.
And for the price, this place is truly a hidden gem. It’s perfect for groups of four looking to stay in one room with excellent amenities like train access, nearby dining, convenience stores, parking, and more.
There’s honestly too much good to say in one review. But to keep it simple, you won’t regret...
Read moreI paid roughly $95 through Expedia, in Nov 2023. It was pretty decent. I would give it 5 stars, but the room they gave us had the front door on the edge of a 2 flight stair case. Also, these beds were much less firm ( good ), but the pillows are lacking. We asked for 2 more pillows are we're denied. It's really annoying how limited places are w pillow requests. They give you one tiny pillow, period. However, the room had more of a home feel than 70% of the super tiny places we stayed at. Would I stay again? Not unless the price was $80 or so. It's so bare bones that while you get a clean, quiet place...you don't grt much else ( ie: so now you have to hunt down dinner/breakfast for yoyr family ,etc )
PRO
If you are a family of 3 ( 2 adults and 1 small child ), this can work. There is one King Bed and a bunk bed.
They have plates, a water heater, pans and utensils. However, we could NOT figure out how to use to stove. It's insane !
3)They do offer washer/dryer, st a cost. But it's located downstairs in the lobby area.
4)There is a Lawson next door. I descended the stairs, and went right in. However, this Lawsons seemed out of alot of things ( sorry ! )
CON
1)The AC here is odd and tricky. If it's humid outside, or hot be careful w AC's. They often made us feel sick.
2)No Breakfast, no nothing.
My two friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is remarkably convenient, being located right next to a Lawson and in relatively close proximity to many restaurants, more convenience stores, and most importantly the train station. Our 3-bed hotel room was surprisingly spacious enough to comfortably house the three of us and our luggage/shopping haul. The 3-bed room comes with two twin-sized beds and one bunk-bed that you have to unfold yourself (I slept on this one, it was quite nice). The bathroom was very well-kept and overall pleasant to be in. Shower/bathing-room is pretty standard as far as it goes for Japanese hotels. Toilet-seat heater was nice. Checking into the hotel was extremely smooth and easy, requiring no physical in-person interaction. Lobby was nice, clean, and warm, which became a sanctuary for us when we returned to our hotel late at night in the freezing December weather. Doors to the lobby from the outside will lock automatically at 12am; you can reenter by putting in your room code on a pad on the side of the entrance. Will definitely be booking this hotel for any future visits in this area; highly...
