すし銀 — Restaurant in Tokyo

I found this place online via maps when my friend and I were looking for places in the area where we stayed; very happy I went. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted (love that about the culture), we were seated immediately right in front of the chefs. They knew we were foreigners but that didn't matter. One of the locals in the restaurant came and was trying to guide us in her limited english vocabulary, one of the chefs knew English but they also went out of their way to explain things and even give us an English menu. The atmosphere was nice and calming, nice jazz music was playing, the chef would converse with us a bit and made us feel welcome.

The food was soo good and so fresh you can taste it melting in your mouth. You can pay per roll/sashimi or you can get their specials which usually cover a few options + a soup bowl and a small salad. Most options like tuna, salmon and other common fish are around 1-200 yen ($1-2 CAD). The pricier options like fatty tuna (350 yen aka $3.5 CAD) or even sea urchin (700 yen aka $7 CAD) are available if that is your liking.

For anyone in the area needing a sushi spot, you can't go wrong with this place. I would come back if I visited Tokyo again, I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. From start to finish I didn't feel like an outsider and the quality of the food truly...

The amount of wine is so little, only half of the usual plum wine you will get in japan.

The “so called” famous sushi set with 4 piece identical, the quality and the sushi is worth only 1500 in Japan, totally different from what they shown on picture. Almost like a scam.
