The worst station ever used 👎 Total inconvenience. Everyday I take the Seibu-Shinjuku Line, and transfer at Takadanobaba to Tozai Line, which in the morning from 5am -8am is total rush hour. They have Rapid Train, Semi-Rapid Train and Local Train, which is amazing! But not for those millions of people waiting at the platform where you almost fall to the rails. Takadanobaba Station has few elevators where is totally useless and no elevator where is needed. To get to Tozai Line you have to get out the station and walk to the middle of the traffic circle to take the elevator. There are many gates at the Seibu-Shinjuku Line of Takadanobaba, but in only one gate there’s an elevator. Incredibly inconvenient. I’ll give 1 Star only because there’s no 0. But to be kind, 1, because there’s JR LINE and also a Metro (Tozai Line), and a Starbucks inside the Seibu-Shinjuku Line, which I think nobody goes.

Read moreI arrived at Takadanobaba Station and found the exit gate, but I took the wrong direction to the Seibo entrance, which caused an error with my ticket. I went to the counter near the gate to ask for assistance. However, the male staff member, who was Japanese, spoke to me in Japanese with impolite attitude. When I said I didn’t understand Japanese, they responded (in Japanese) with an unpleasant attitude, saying something like, “This is Japan, and you don’t understand Japanese?”
I paid for my train ride —I didn’t ride for free. At other stations, older gentleman members have always been very supportive. Please consider retraining your staff on how to treat foreign passengers with...
Read moreI got on and off this station while commuting to the Japanese Language School. Very convenient with Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, Yamanote Line and Seibu-Shinjuku line (it covers Tokyo, Saitama and Chiba prefectures). Lots of vending machines, NewDays konbini and lots of shops, shotengai and konbini outside, also there's the Takadanobaba Big Box, a great place for shopping. It's a student area with lots of Japanese Language Schools and near Waseda University, so there's a lot of students, both foreign and japanese nationals. Great station, great environment and a great place to...
